Tables NOT visible when creating a new task

Hi folks

We are in the process of creating a new set of tasks collecting data from a new source but CANT see any tables or views that are contained in that source.  Connecting to the source database  works as we would expect.  Viewing the data through SSMS,  extracting using QlikSense and clicking on the Replicate "Test Connection button are all perform using the credentials  as provided by the DBA team allow us to create the Source Endpoint as normal.

However, an error occurs when we create a new Replicate task  and no tables are returned when we try and "Select  Tables/Views" in the wizard. The error message is Command get_table_list failed when getting the list.

Not sure if it has any relevance but the source is SQL Server Express.

Many thanks, jonna

Hi @jonna ,

Make sure you have granted the correct permissions for the Replicate user to read the tables from your SQL server. Not just read permissions on tables is enough.
Please align the current permission according to the user guide.

thanks very much @SwathiPulagam

I suspected this to be the case, but couldnt be sure. I have already put in a request to our  DBA team to ask them to verify the permissions.

most appreciated

cheers, jonna
