Task cannot run. -Task cannot be started because target endpoint 'DB_Target' of type 'Microsoft SQL Server' has no license.

I have a valid license that expires in Novemer 2022. However, even with it, when I run my Replicate task, it will throw this error:

  • Task cannot run.
  • -Task cannot be started because target endpoint 'DB_TArget' of type 'Microsoft SQL Server' has no license.

Hello,

From the server settings go to license - is SQL Server listed as part of the licensed target endpoints?

Thanks

Lyka

Hey @ac74 ,

It looks like SQL Server was not included as a target in your recently applied license.  With this license, you will continue to encounter the error on task with SQL Server target.

I recommend opening a case in the Support portal with "License Request" in the title and explain you need SQL Server added to the target in the description.  This will be routed to the correct queue and a licensing specialist will assist you.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Best,

Kelly

Has that endpoint connection ever worked before or is it a new setup? Please let me know.

Thank you.  I have contacted Qlik Replicate Support and they have created a case for it.
