After deleting a task, we are getting a constant warning in the server log:00002536: 2023-03-23T11:23:47 [SERVER ]W: Task 'Vendor Records Table Data Sync' was not found in the task table. Skip checking the task status. (server.c:1187
The task is deleted why is this spamming our server log every 3 seconds? Should we restart that Qlik Service?
Hi @zacker20
Thnk you for using the Qlik community.
To answer your question, I will need you to open a case.
As we need you to provide some more information about your environment.
Thank you

1. the exportrepository output file content information that you may not want to share in this forum.
2. the email could be from your Replicate notification or from QEM notification, so check there .

WHY? This is 90% likely to be a usage error, not a product defect. Let's see what the community can come up with and open a case if it looks like a defect or when the urgency becomes critical. If it become a support case, then it would be nice (but unlikely) to get a final summary here in the forum once resolved such that other community member with a similar issue can be helped.
>> Did you have any recent upgrades?
Maybe it is more relevant to ask about the versions (for Replicate and Enterprise Manager if used)
>> Have you deleted the task after the upgrade?
Interesting question. The OP indicates the task was deleted. Why would it be relevant whether this is after an upgrade? The OP suggest the issue started after the delete, not after an upgrade.
>> exportrepository
Why? The task is deleted. Seem a bit heavy and possibly incorrect if the data directory is NOT in the default (or on Linux perhaps?). Perhaps the OP can tell us where the task is still in the scheduler or similar?
If the major annoyance is Email messages, then perhaps temporarily disable (some of) those, until resolved? The repsrv.log will indicate whether the issue is still there. Is there anything more interesting in those Emails or the same as the repsrv.log message? Perhaps include an Email sample? You indicate that the message reads "Skip checking the task status." do you have any idea what might be triggering a check status? Are you using the Enterprise manager? Are there any outside scripts running?
If at all possible try to Stop and (re)start the Replicate Server. Boot it if you have to.
If the issue persists, then please provide more details on the configuration and environment. Linux or Windows? EM? Versions?
Good luck!
