Hello Qlik Support Team,
Our customer is currently planning an upgrade for both Qlik Replicate and Qlik Enterprise Manager, following the versions below:
Qlik Replicate: 2022/5 → 2022/11 → 2023/11 → 2024/11
Qlik Enterprise Manager: 2022/11 → 2023/11 → 2024/11
We understand that Enterprise Manager typically maintains backward compatibility with older Replicate versions.
However, according to the release notes for Qlik Enterprise Manager November 2024 (link), it appears that compatibility with Qlik Replicate May 2022 is not supported.
Therefore, we would like to confirm if the following upgrade path would be considered valid and supported from a compatibility standpoint:
Upgrade Qlik Enterprise Manager: 2022/11 → 2023/11
Upgrade Qlik Replicate: 2022/5 → 2022/11 → 2023/11
Upgrade Qlik Enterprise Manager: 2023/11 → 2024/11
Upgrade Qlik Replicate: 2023/11 → 2024/11
Alternatively, would it be acceptable to upgrade as follows, assuming no Replicate tasks are actively running during the upgrade process?
Qlik Enterprise Manager: 2022/11 → 2023/11 → 2024/11
Qlik Replicate: 2022/5 → 2022/11 → 2023/11 → 2024/11
We would greatly appreciate it if you could confirm whether either of the above approaches is supported, and if there are any specific concerns or best practices we should keep in mind.
Thank you very much for your support.
Regards,
Kyoko Tajima
