User Defined function in Qlik Replicate

Hi Team,

I am exploring Qlik Replicate. In that, I need to create user defined function.

As per the user guide, i tried to create but can't able to create the user-defined function.

Could you please guide me/suggest the steps to create user-defined function in Qlik Replicate.

I have tried with that sample codes.

I can't able to compile in visual studio code.

Well, this should not be the case, you will need to open a support ticket for that.

were you able to create any sample function and make it visible in the user defined functions tab ? I have a similar problem even after following the steps in documentation.

@csidda  Please consider creating your own fresh topic with good specification of what you tried, compile ok? link ok? DLL available?  if appropriate what the error was, and perhaps relevant chunks of code like the addons_defs.json. And of course which Replicate version / platform.

WAG - assuming you provided the appropriate addons_def.json pointing to the dll,  did you restart the Replicate services?

The documentation on the UDF's is just a minimal README, but it is critical and sufficient. Read it 5 times over!

If you figured it out, please give a quick reply here with a quick hint as to perhaps a missing step. If it still does not work, please start your own topic with the relevant details.
