How to make a text object ask for a password when clicked

I have 3 text objects on my opening screen of Dashboard. Each of the text boxes has an action added to them that will open all charts related to that textbox. I want one of the text-box to be password protected. That is of someone clicks on it, it should ask for a password that is shared among some members and the corresponding charts should open only if the password entered is correct. Is there a way this could be done?

You might consider hiding the button for users that are not supposed to have access to it. Then all you need is a list of user ids who are supposed to see the button.

Is there something users shouldn't see?  You can add the privileged users to an AD group, and then use Section Access to allow them to see the data in question.

Qlikview is a reporting tool not the validation tool like password protection. So, yup shouldn't get thru. But, one thing I can think is add one more text box saying that password with input bic side by side. And use button kind off..

But, one drawback using thus feature. Qlik don't know which password is which to open and give action to chart after four got attribut vatiar pass.

Does it help?
