We have had Qlik Sense now for a few weeks and created an app on the hub. it immediately appeared in the app section of the QMC but I was wondering "where" the app actually resides? I have looked through various click folders on the server and can't find it.
thanks
Also is there a way to copy the .QVF file from a desktop installation into the QMC? I know I can import but when you import not all of the thumbnails come in.
thanks
cathy
Hi - Qlik Sense Enterprise saves the apps under a default folder. You can see it from the qmc under engines -> properties.
The QVF files are named with a GUID file name. You can find out which GUID for which app by going to qmc -> apps and enabling the GUID field to show in the top right.
There is a method to change the directory which is 'manual' . But this will improve soon.

Hi Cathy!
You should upload your thumbnails into default content library in QMC, and set them as thumbnail at the Hub edit mode.
G.
