About using User Name http header

Hi,

I'm currently trying to integrate QV Access Point in an existing website, using an iframe. Since there's a login system in the website, I want to use the User Name header functionnality, but that doesn't work and I'm facing an "Authentication denied" popup.

Here's my conf :

  • QV9
  • Qlikview WebServer (not IIS)
  • user control : NTFS control (I've tried with DMS with the same results)
  • user name header : QVU

I've tried with fiddler as exposed in http://community.qlik.com/cfs-filesystemfile.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files...

but the result was always negative.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

at least, could someone tell me if such a way to proceed (login QV Webserver from another site sending http user name header) is possible?

Still no answer, I guess this is not possible. What a pity, that would be a lovely feature.

Tks all.

I can't get to the link you posted or see the images you put up.  You can use the Header field to send the user information to QVS. The server has to be in DMS mode and the user added to the document security. The attach does work..
