Allow Admin Using Name and Password in QVS Setup TAB of QMC

According to Qlik help :

"If the QVP is running in a separate Windows Active Directory, this setting has to be enabled to be able to connect to the QVS service. Also, the account used to connect must be part of the QlikView Administrators group. To enable the support of the separate Windows Active Directory, tick this check box."

My question is that :

1. What does a separate Windows Active directory mean over here? Does it mean that the domain of the user account running QVP and QVS are separate?

Hey Sanchayan,

You would typically use this setting if you were configuring the QVS service installed on a separate server than the domain/server hosting the QMS service.
