Bandwidth Limitation ?

Hi all,

Currently we are using Qlikview Server version 10 on windows server 2008. Our data source (SQL Server 2005) server available on outside local network.

So we are fetching data over internet using OLEDB. We allocated 4mbps dedicated bandwidth to QV server.

But still the time of data fetching from data source, Its won't use more than 512kbps.

Any limitation controlling qv server?

How can we make sure QV server using available bandwidth as his best!!

Plz suggest..

Note: We are not using Qlikview Publisher.

Thanks in advance,

Karthik

Hi Karthik,

Does that happen using 32 or 64 bit drivers? Does that happen as well if you do the same SQL SELECT statement from SQL Management Studio? Has the SQL Server any limitation in the amount of data by chunks it can send at the same time?

Hope that helps.

Miguel

We are using 64 bit drivers.

Current I am unable to execute script on my production server. I will execute and get back you with result..

As I discussed with our network team, there is no limitation on SQL Server side.

Could you guess anything on this issue?

Thanks,

Karthik
