Hi,
We've recently set up a new QV app built specifically for iPad users but a common complaint (that I agree with) is if there was a way to reduce the number of times we need to login when accessing the app.
Basically, if you step off the app in anyway - ie lock the screen or back out to the home menu - when you open the app again it asks for your login details again. It doesn't matter how short the time was it still asks for it which can be frustrating if you have a long password.
Is there anyway we can cache their authentication for a period of time? Ideally we'd be able to give the users a bit of wiggle room for login prompts after doing it the first time and if they are on a VPN or directly on the work network it'd just use their WiFi details (as happens on their PCs).
Any ideas to make the iOS authentication a little less strict while keeping their individual visibility (logins)?
Cheers,
Jesse
