Clearing Cache

Good Morning Guys,

I am having a serious issue on my dashboard this morning,

Some fields were changed on my database and afterwards i reloaded my qlikview dashboard but the changes made on my database was not effected. For Example; i change a department from Pharmacy to Drugs, every items under the previous category now show something different "-', like it does not recognize the category again.

Is there anywhere to clear cache on Qlikview Personal Edition?

Any help please

Hi, I think you need to check your load scipt. It's quite likely that there is an error in the data model.

Agree with Andrey. A "-" usually means a lack of data (a null value). For example, if you are doing a mapping and the value stored in the field is no longer "Pharmacy" (capital letters included) or the field no longer exists, you could get a null in some charts.

For what it's worth, that cache you mention is removed every time you close QlikView Desktop.

I discovered that the Category was not properly correected.

This is working fine now.
