Clustering with one publisher between Test and Production

Hi,

Kindly guide me how to include Clustering in Qlikview Architectural diagram when we are having one publisher between Test and production Server. Any sample diagram we have. I have gone through Qlikview Clustering Document, but would like to check if any specific diagram is there in this scenario.

I do not think that u can use one publisher for both test and production server.

Remember for 1 server there is 1 license and without server publisher can not work.

Better way u can raise call with qlik

Hi,

As of now, we have 2 QV Servers allowing us to work on 3 different Environments

2 QV Publishers allowing us to distribute information among 3 different environments

Would be having 2 VMs, one for Publisher, one for QV Server for each Environment(DEV,QA and PROD)

Kindly guide me if this would work

Hi,

You will have to make sure that both servers are in the QMC and you can only run one QMC. Once this is done all you have to do is pick the server where you want the distribution to go to.

You can also have publisher placing the files in the next server mounted folders.

And authorizations can be taken care in user documents.

This would be applicable when we are having 2 VMs(Server and Publisher) separately installed in different boxes for Test Environment and Production Environment. Kindly Advice.

Hi,

Right now I have got the Hardware sizing for Production and QA to start with Installation. Don't we not require Development Server as it will be installed in 2 VMs one for Qlikview Server and Qlikview Publisher separately

Qlikview Desktop is where the development Server would be considered? Kindly advise
