Create second access point for custom users only in QVS9

Hi everybody,

I need to create a second customized access point for external users.

How would you process to create a new access point in Qlikview Web server ?

As far as I know it is possible to create a new folder in the existing Qlikview web server, but would'nt it be more efficient to create a second QWS ?

Thanks in advance for your advises.

Sébastien

I currently have the same problem, I have a QVW i want to show to a select group of users, and it should be the only QVW they see...

Any thoughts?

I don't know how to create another access point but you should be able to hide QVWs using the NTFS permissions. If one user doesn't have the permissions to read a QVW it is not visible within the access point.

hi,

I am facing a similar problem. and Qliktech suggested to create two web server. one for internal users and other for extrenal.

But the problem is they have told us to install only QV Webserver on differnet machine.

I am not able to uplaod the document if you can provide your email id i will send it across to you. I am not able to figure it out the best possible way to acheive the same.

Because installing the webserver into a new machine again creates a cost for us.

Hope we all can sort it out in a best possible way
