I am working on scheduling PDF distributor to distribute a report to list of email recipients. Scheduling document to be distributed got no problem, but where I am struck is, client want body of the mail to start as “Dear FirstName” for which I am passing field name in DocTitle Variable In Email Template (System tab-setup-Distributionservices-Email Templates- Attachment plain- Body)as it’s the only variable where we can pass dynamic values. By doing that the output which I am getting is “Dear FirstName.PDF” which is not the correct way of addressing any one.
Is there any way to eliminate .PDF or any workaround/way to pass just the field name?
