When you deploy a qlikview document on a server such that multiple users have access to it, I'm wondering if you can include a button in the qvw that will reload the application on the server? Giving the user the ability to reload on demand would be powerful functionality.
Before I go and try to think of a creative solution, I'm wondering if anyone has developed this functionality, or has a good idea on how to do it.
yes it is possible. Try searching for EDX, in this community and in QV help. Basically you can create a macro that will call a WebService to start the reload and check its status.
