Is that object included in a container anywhere? These do not show up in the sheet properties. You will have to remove it from the container(s).

Press Ctrl Alt D to go to document properties. In document properties, security tab, check or select admin override security and then try.

Hi

we once had the same problem. It was not possible to delete a newly created object by right-clicking and delete.

All the security settings were correct (doc. properties, user-properties and worksheet properties sec. settings).

However, it was possible to see the object in worksheet properties, mark the new object and delete by pressing
the delete button at right bottom.

Problem was caused by a wrong Settins.ini. We migrated from 11.2 to 12.10, and restored the old Settings.ini...
and this caused the issue. So to resolve the issue, close qlikview, rename settings.ini to settings.ini.old
and create a new settings.ini by reopening qlikview. The removal of a new object should work easily then.
