How to force IE 6 to open hyperlinks in new window

Hi,

we have a QlikView application that distributes several links to documents and external applications in a table chart. In IE 8, every document and external application is opened in a new tab, however in IE 6 it opens up in the same browser window.

If I change some of the Internet options in IE 6, it opens up in another window, but I need it to open up automatically.

Is there a possibilty to force external applications / hyperlinks in IE 6 to open in a new window? Maybe anything to change in QVAccessPoint.js?
