For a temporary architecture workaround, I am looking at having several QVS installed in as many virtual machines, but all within the same physical server.
Is it something that is feasible technically and also in terms of licensing ?
Thanks.
Hi,
It is perfectly possible to have multiple VMs on 1 actual server. This is how our training environment is build.
From a licensing point of view, every server will require a separate license as they are considered individual servers.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply - what about having several QVS instances (with each a separate license) directly installed on the same physical server ? Is that as well possible ?
Regards.
I doubt it can be done, but I also see no useful reason to do so.
It can be done if all of them are in different VMs.
