Performance Problems with Count/Sum function

Hello,

i have a qvw Script in a Server environment with max. 5 tables.

In one table i have a field with IDs and i created a data set count field (1 as FieldID) to sum or count it at the UI, but the performance is very slow.

The Table with the FieldID have ca. 60 Millions data sets.The server have a little more than 24 GB RAM.

Habe anyone have an idea why the performance is so slow?

did a short test with 30.000.000 records (autogenerated) - on my quadcore notebook with 8GB RAM absolutely no problem to do sum() over all records. Even count( distinct xxxxx) over 30.000.000 values was no problem...

No performance issues.

Did you solve your problem? I'm having the same issue.

Sum() is terrible slow.

Any suggestions?
