Are you running this on IE or Edge?

IE isn't supported only Edge in IE mode.

HI, many thanks.

The error message is when installing, not when executing. We are getting this error in one PC. In others it works fine.

@fjbustillo

There is an install log created when installing QlikView Plug-in. Can you check if there is one created?

Hi @fjbustillo,

I have not seen that error before with regards to running the IE Plugin installation file downloaded from the AccessPoint. Suggest you try providing the IE Plugin installation executable directly to end user and have them run the installation as an Administrator. The default path for the IE Plugin installation executable is %ProgramFiles%\QlikView\Server\QlikViewClients\QlikViewPlugin\QvPluginSetup.exe, residing on the QlikView Server.

Hi,

Again, IE is not supported, you will need to use Edge.
