I have searched information about performance, issues or incidents about installing and running a QlikView Server on a server virtualized with Oracle Virtual Machine but I could not find anything.
So, I would like to know if there are some suggestions or inconvinients I have to keep in mind to make the installation or when using QV server from the access point on the virtualized server with OVM.
It is never a good idea to put QVS on a Virtual machine. However, a lot of people does it and it is supported by QlikView. Performance is the issue we see the most and support policy is that on some issues you might have to prove it happens on a physical box.
