I would start by recommending you to download and do the free Tutorial. Also, version 8.5 isn't supported anymore so I would recommend getting on a more current release.
Now to answer your question, Qlikview normally talkes to your Database through the ODBC connectors that you setup on the machine. So, if you have change the Database servers you will need to update or create the ones to point to the new DB.
