Qlik Web Connectors in a Multi-node environment

Hi,

We installed QWC on our development server and have that working but now want to deploy on production.
However, we did not find much information regarding which node(s) to install the QWC in a multi-node environment (we have two Central, two Web, 1 DB, 1 File). The Qlik help link on Deployment Scenarios for Qlik Web Connectors does not appear to show this?  Question is should it be installed on the Central node or every node etc. There is the separate machine option but we prefer not to add another machine.  We saw the following article from over a year ago and not sure if this is a supported method or if there is a better option now.

Hi,

There is no specific node this has to be installed on. It doesn't even have to be on a node. However, you will have to White list the machine IPs that you want to be able to connect to it.

Thanks for the link. However, I did see that article but it was not clear on whether it needed to be on a certain node (server) or not.  So, it appear I can install it on the Central node and white list the IP's of the other nodes that need to connect to it?
