QlikView Server: attribute RAM to server

Dear all,

I have a server of fi 16GB RAM, now I want to use the server to run a QlikViewServer, but I also want to use the server to run a QlikView Desktop Client to develop the dashboards on. Can I tell the server: you can have 8GB RAM and the rest is for me?
