QlikView Windows OS Compatibility

Hello,

I want to know whether QlikView 12.0 , 12.1 and 12. 4 are supported on Windows  Server 2019 ? If they are not supported then kindly let me know whether they are supported on Windows Server 2016.

Thanks

Hello @viz301 ,

Thanks for posting.

QlikView 12.0 and 12.10 for sure are not supporting Windows Server 2019.

QlikView November 2018 does support Windows Server 2016

System Requirements for QlikView ‒ QlikView

In any case, as all such versions are unsupported, we strongly recommend to move to May 2021 and May 2022 where either Windows Server 2016 and 2019 are supported.

System requirements for QlikView ‒ QlikView

Cheers,

Albert

Yes, you will have to upgrade QlikView if you want to use Windows Server 2016 or 2019.

Since the versions you are mentioning are old and have been out of support for a long time, I would recommend an upgrade anyway.

Upgrade instructions can be found here

Thanks for the Information.

So essentially you are conveying that QlikView versions 12.0 , 12.1 are not supported on windows server 2016 and windows server 2019 and they need to be upgraded to a higher version. Is my interpretation correct  ?

Thanks
