Qlikview Server - Creating an ad-hoc reload

Hi All,

Is it possible to create a ad-hoc reload on the Qlikview Server without a scheduled run time?

Similarly, is it possible to schedule a task through the Qlikview Server but disable the ad-hoc reload functionality?

1. Yes, it is called EDX in Qlikview. See the Qlikview Server reference manual for 8.50 or 9 (the differ in functionality on EDX) for code examples.

I meant is it possible to set up a scheduled task so it is viewed in the Status tab of the QMC, but users cannot manually start/stop the task.
