Qlikview Service Question

HI all,

Can anyone tell if the services that run on the server require a license.

We have 20 CALs but one has been allocated to the user "QVSservice" and is therefore eating up a CAL

Hi,

Cal will not  be allocated to any user unless you access any application from server or lease license on desktop.

For administration or running task you don't need a cal.

It is not necessary that the user maintains the service provider holds a license.

Just enough to belong to the group "Qlikview Administrators"
