Remote QEMC

Hi,

We have QV10 server farm hosted over the internet. QVS is i.e. outside our domain. We would like to gain access to the QEMC from our browser, not through the RDP.

What are the necessary steps to establish that connection. please keep in mind:

1. We're using NTFS authorization

2 Client: Prohibit anonymous

3. anonymous: account:On local computer

4. connection using extended SSL

We are extra sensetive for security. So if accessing the QEMC by remote will jeopardize security, then will rather not enforce it.

Hi Dror,

The only things you should take into account are:

• Only users in the local group "QlikView Administrators" will be able to use the console
• Port 4780 must be opened inbound in the server where the console is, because this is the port it uses to get to the QEMC. You may need to do some port mapping.
