Retry doesnt start

Hi,

I have a task set to 3 retries and 1 minute timeout. When the task fails, it doesn't retry though.

Any ideas?

Hi Paul.

Are you sure?

The task might do this without you seeing it:

1st try – attempt failed

2nd try – attempt failed

3rd try – attempt failed and the whole task fails

Try and set the document log to log timestamp to see if that is the case.

You're probably using a Publisher?

In that case, the timeout encompasses all retries. And take care not to include just the regular script execution delay, because tak management by itself also takes some time.
