Task Migration Qvs10 to clean install instance of Qvs11

Qvs10 Publisher Task Migration to a clean install instance of Qvs11 Managment Services.

It has been noted on Qvs10     http://community.qlik.com/message/75573#75573

That after stopping services, one could copy over the exisiting QVPR folder from the orginating server location and place it onto the new fresh installed server in the same place.

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\

Then change server name references in the following .xml files.

     C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\DirectoryResource.xml

     C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\DistributionService.xml

     C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\DSCResource.xml

     C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\QDSCluster.xml

     C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\QlikViewServerResource.xml

     C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\QVSCluster.xml

     C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR\QvWebServiceResource.xml

Question:  Does anyone know if this works for Qvs10 migration to a fresh install of Qvs11.  Given the fact that the QVPR folder has been reloacted to:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagmentService\QVPR\

TIA

The method you mentioned is "unsupported" by QlikTech.  Have you read this: http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-2647
