Trigger a Publisher Task Reload When a File is Present

Hi All,

I am trying to automate a series of load processes based the existence of a small text file.   My client has publisher along with the EDX capability.

I have read through the forums but have not been able to find specific examples of how this can be accomplished. 

Would anyone happen to have sample scripts and or qvw's that would be able to do this?
