Type mismatch error with AJAX and IE --> solved by SR 4 or 5?

Hi

In my application I am using a button in combination with a variable to show or not show certain objects for example graphs.

We publish this and our end users are making use,.... MAINLY ... of Internet Explorer. This functionality does not work at all and I get a Type mismatch error (line 796, code 0 char 9)

(It work in every other browser that we have tried)

In the release notes of SR 4 and 5 I see issues resolved with the slide object which uses variables as well. Could it be that this issue is resolved by these releases and if so, which? (we just miss those two)
