access point question

When modifying the qvw file in the access point browser, is the qvw file in the actual path also modified?

I don't think so, please check

Also, the modified qvw file is reflected in the access point browser, but how do I run it back to the original file (before modification)?

When you add shared objects they get added to the tshared file with the same name as the QVW file (shared file in earlier versions).

You can delete shared objects from the QMC, under the server object in the document details.

In the access point you can remove them by opening the repository and delete the objects

If you want to delete all sheet objects and bookmarks you can delete the tshared file. Never do this without having a copy of the file

When you add objects from the AccessPoint, you are not really editing the QVW file.

See below help section

Shared Objects

If you want to change the document (qvw) you have to open it with QlikView Desktop.

Here is a link to a tutorial that takes you through the basics

Unless adding an object in the access point browser is actually modifying the qvw file

How can I see the actual qvw file again on the screen where I edited the qvw file in the access point browser?
