change qlikview module security no view

When I type control+shift+m, the module security change screen like the capture file does not appear.

How do I make it visible?

And, when open the qvw file, this message appears.

"macro parse failed. functionally was lost"

Hi @jtj02080208 ,

as suggested, you should be able to access Edit Module by going to  Tools --> Edit Module

You can also reset information about security by editing the settings.ini file:
https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/QVW-Module-Security-for-Document-Prompt-when-Opening-a-QVW-i...

On a document-specific level, you can add or remove the document GUID from settings.ini right under the following sections:

[Module Checksums Safe]
<-- Give System Access to Module Script
<GUID for the QlikView document>
...

[Module Checksums System]          <-- Limit Module Script to Safe Mode
<GUID for the QlikView document>
..

[Module Checksums Blocked]         <-- Stop all Module Script

https://support.qlik.com/articles/000003748

As a last resort, you might want to completely remove the client's settings.ini: it will be recreated when launching again QlikView with the default settings.

Hi @jtj02080208 , that's very strange!
Can you try running QlikView in different language and check if the shortcut works? It might be something locale-related.

Anyway, you can change the setting in a different way by going to Tools --> Edit Module (Ctrl + M) --> Current Local Security

Edit module (Ctrl + M) does not open, is there a way to open it?

And, when open the qvw file, this message appears.

If the settings.ini file is deleted, the settings.ini file should be created automatically, but it is not created.

What's the problem?

Hi @qwebnm , that's surprising.
When deleting the file and relaunching the desktop client, the first thing that should happen is that you are asked to pick the language:

If not, and if you still have the old settings, then you are probably using a different settings.ini than the one you deleted.
If you put it back, and then change some settings in the client, is the file updated accordingly?

Even if the settings.ini file is deleted, it is not regenerated, and the file is not updated even if some settings are changed.

If you are using a different settings.ini, where is it?

How do I check?
