A text field in QV (Memo Field or Multiple Text Lines Field) - What's the better representation ?

Hello !

We have a database here where some fields are a kind of a text field. Think of them as a html textarea or an email body field. They are simply fields with one or more lines of text.

I'd like to know what's the better way to represent them inside QV.

I have concatenated multiple lines into a single text field. But I dont think this is the better solution. What I'd really like to see is the line breaks as if they where presented on a HTML for instance.

As usual, I have prepared a tiny , self-contained QVW , to test the concept alone.

So, inside KIT160.ZIP (attached) you have :

• The QVW itself
• The input file (TEST160P.CSV)
• A html that is the better representation of the information (as we currently "see" this information).

Any ideas or other approaches to represent the same information ?

Table Box Properties -> Presentation -> check Cell Height (Wrap Text)
