Hi All,
I have installed qlikview server and desktop on test server(Latest version 12).When the same admin user is trying to access from access point user not able to access.I have created customer user as well and the basic settings required to access the application from access point but no success.
Done below settings:
For Custom Directory , changed authentication in Security tab of the QlikView Server config from NTFS to DMS.
Changed the type from ntlm to Custom User and set the login address to Alternate login page.
Can anyone tell me the what I am missing?
Regards,
Mayank
Hi Peter/Marcus,
I am getting attached error:
On further checking on web server the error is :
Authorization failed for user domain\Server name required access level is qlikviewAdministrator.

Mayank
Is the user who runs the qlikview services and the IIS member of the QlikViewAdministrators group?
- Marcus
Yes the user is member of qlikview administrator group who run all the services.Qlikview setting service is all run by the same user.
The IIS member?I did not get this point?
Regards,
Mayank
I didn't meant "IIS member" else more if the user who runs the IIS the same ike the other qlikview services (it was just bad english from me).
- Marcus
ok
yes it is also run by the same user who is member of qlik administrator group.
Is there any way I can access the access point?
Regards,
Mayank
Like above mentioned I don't know if there is anything to consider by using DMS+Custom User and the IIS. Therefore I'm currently out of ideas. Maybe bbt could give some hints.
