Hi Al
When i clikc on action button to open a chart , it will open into pdf format in the next tab bu wont download it .
Is there any option to download the opened pdf after clicking on the action button ?
Hi,
Can you please attach the qvw file.
I don't think you could the pdf direct to download but if the pdf is opened within a new tab you could choose the option "save" which will save the file within the default download-folder from your browser or will ask you where it should be saved (depending on your user-settings).

Hi Marcus
Exactly this is what iam gettting now .
But i want like , once it open in new tab it should by defualt doqnload .
Is there any possibility to acieve this ?
Or can it be lanched atleast ?
I think this is not up to QlikView. The decision to either display or download a media type is up to the browser. If your browser decides that it can handle the mime type by itself, it will try to display the media in your browser window (applies to html, xml, text, jpeg, gif, possibly pdf - at least Google Chrome handles pdfs out of the box - etc. ) If it decides that it cannot handle the media, it may launch an external registered application to do the handling (Windows media player, etc.) If it cannot find a registered handler for this mime type, it will offer you a download link. IMHO that's the standard browser behavior.
JavaScript embedded in the current page may offer further options and change this behavior altogether..Complex stuff...
