Aggr problems make me Aggr

Hi there,

I am having some problems getting my the answers that I want.

I have a total number of Retailers (164) and 15 stock groups (which are  then split into groups of part numbers - current layout I am using is a Pivot Table with PartNo collapsed). Not all stock groups have had sales associated with each Retailer - in one column I want to put in the total number of Retailers in each row, so it associates 164 against every stock group.

Then I want to show the sales of each stock group divided by the number of Retailers (To get a national average by stock group)

I am really struggling here - I am sure I should be using Aggr, and have been going around in circles for a good couple of hours, but just can't figure it out!

I hope someone can lend a helping hand?

Thanks!

Not sure if I understand completely, but may be this:

Count(TOTAL Retailers)

swuehl
MVP
MVP

COUNT(TOTAL DISTINCT Retailers)
