Aggregation with Linked table and Dynamic Dimensions

Hi All,

I would like to sum the 'cost' by a dimension(Exam) however the 'cost' is in a linked table and it only brings back the cost of one exam. For example in my main table there are two exams of type 'a'. The cost for a Type 'a' exam is £50. I would want the expression to show £100 however it is only coming back with £50.

Using AGGR I have come up with something that seems to work but wanted to check a) is there a better way and b) what happens when i would like to use a cyclic dimension
