Allow users get access without logins

Hi,

We have basic section access table in qv document with just login details for roles such as ADMIN and USERS. What we want to achieve now is to allow the users to access the qlikview documents from Access point without entering any logins. So, any user in the company who has the CAL assigned in qlikview server and their users available in Active directory could be able to access the qlikview document from access point without the need to enter logins.

However, I dont want to give admin rights to users, so i think section access table is still require. Am I right?

So, What I can do so that users are not asked logins when they click on document in access point?

Regards,

Bharath

Why do you want the NTDOMAINSID ?

I think NTNAME is enough, to know the syntax for NTNAME, create a text object with the OSUser() function.

Each user which opens a qlikview document throught the access point has only user rights. (no possibility to modify script, etc..)

Admin rights is only when you open a qlikview document in dekstop.
So, I think you can delete the section access

Hi Yoann,

Few of our users are also given access to open the qliview document from Deskop(using license lease).

I guess that I can achieve this SSO requirement, using NTNAME and NTDOMAINSID in section access, as we use Active Directory.

But not sure whether I am right. So Could you tell me, Is this the right approach? If yes, where can i get NTDOMAINSID for each user.

Hi Yoann,

I have tested it and it working fine. The user cannot be able to see the document when his NTNAME is not present in section access. This is what i wanted to achieve.

Thanks for your suggestion !!
