Alternate states(Make filters are local)

Hi Everyone,

How to make the selections/filters are local .It means if am selecting the particular selections in the sheet1 those will not reflect in the remaining sheets.

It seems the alternate state facility in QV11.Is their any to develop the same in QV10.?

you can use triggers on exit of the sheet in order to clear some fields

No, alternate states only exist in QV11+. But if you want sheets to behave independent you can use bookmarks and the OnActivateSheet and OnLeaveSheet sheet triggers. Create a bookmark per sheet and replace the sheet bookmark when you leave the sheet and reapply the bookmark when you enter the sheet. You can do that by adding Replace Bookmark and Apply Bookmark actions to the sheet triggers.

Hi Dhanu,

You can achieve this in QV11 by doing following thing.

- Goto Setting Document Property -> Alternate State Button -> Add new alternate state

- Go to sheet property  and select alternate state.
