Any way to calculate the total of a aggregation without aggr?

I have a aggregation of Value and Date

I would like to get the sum of all values in the selected daterange as an expression without using aggr because it takes too long time

Any ideas?

Actually I have more fields like category, otherwise an aggr would be nice but I just wondering if there is any easier way
