I am having a problem that I hope somebody can help me with.I have two tables of data that contain medical claims data one containing hospital claims data and the other containing all other medicals claim data for a population. I need to associate events based on a certain date range from a hospital admission since the claims have no relationship to one another besides taking place at a similar time period and belonging to the same patient.
IE i want all claims that took place 7 days after discharge to associate with the hospital event to be extracted.
My thoughts were that you might be able to load a master date based on the date of admission per a hospital admission and then reference that when calculating whether the events are associated or not? I just dont know how to creat a variable for each and every patient that holds that value and can still be referenced in an expression?
