Auto Assign To_Date using Script

Hi All,

          Good Evening. Please Suggest how to get the To_Date from From_Date using script based on User. Ex. If a user is in a Client-1 from starting of the Project and from 01-Oct'16 he is changing to Client-2. So, We will have only From_Date which is 01-Oct'16, what is need is to give To_Date as 31-Aug'16. How to give the To_Date using Script. Please reply ASAP to implement in my client urgent requirement.
