Hi

We are have an SQL datawarehouse that refreshed nightly.  We are currently implementing Qlikview as a reporting tool and are looking at various scenarious.  Is it possible to create a qlikview document that creates numerous qvd files?  How do I then get this 'engine' to update automatically on a weekly basis?  Is there a scheduler within the Qlikview server?

Any advice apppreciated.

Yes there is a scheduler in QlikView Server and a seperate product with more advanced report distribution features called QlikView Publisher. Its quite straight forward to schedule reports on QlikView Server.

This is the Reload Scheduler of QlikView server. Its meeting our requirement so we didnt go for Publisher.

...and you can use the STORE command to create QVD files with a QVW.
