Axes and data in QV

Hi!

I'm beginner of QlikView.

I have questions about data preparation and axes.

What should I do when have 2 different tables in db for example MarketSales and CompanySales.

Each of table have id and specific data. Can I bind this table in model with SalesMonthYear in both tables?

Finally i want use list box year, quarter, .. for both tables. When I clik year = 2013 charts change data presentation for Market and Company.

What is the best practice?

Second problem.
I have 3 charts
First data for year
Second data for halfYear
Thrid data for halfYearAgo

Is it possible to charts and more specifically their axes were not affected when the data selection.
I try with scale static min max step. But data are sometimes different.

It seems to me like you have two (or more) date fields and you want to have one single master calendar associates with all the date fields.

My suggestion:

Concatenate the two tables or use a Link table to create an association through the SalesMonthYear field for both tables.

Search for concatenate or link tables in qlik community to find out more.

I can become more specific if you give us a snapshot of the data model.

Thanks
