Hello,

Does anyone know how to hide those months for 2016 that do not have data in them yet?

Thanks!

Channing

That's true, try creating a combined Year-Month dimension instead of your two grouped dimensions.

Try checking 'Suppress When Zero' on the presentation tab of the chart properties

That is already checked and does not work, probably because I have 3 dimensions.

I guess then you can use calculated dimensions, but can't think of how it would work. Is it possible to share a sample to test it out a little bit?

This did work but do you know how I can sort this to show 2014 1-12, then 2015 1-12, then 2016 1-current month?  The following sort property is giving me the bottom chart sort which shows the last 3 months for 2014 and 2015 at the end..

Try to create your dimension like

=Dual( FINANCIAL_YEAR & ' ' & FINANCIAL_MONTH, FINANCIAL_YEAR*12+FINANCIAL_MONTH)

[Or just use a Year Month date field created in the script]

Then sort by numeric value.

Great suggestion I made a year month date field.  Thanks so much!
