Bar graphs

Is there a way to NOT have a stacked bar graph when you have two or more expressions? I am trying to express my actual vs budget by month, but the bar keeps stacking, I need to present the bars side by side?

Thanx

A quick way to solve this could be to remove the dimensions and add a new Calculated dimension as below;

=PostYM & '' & [Division Desc]

on the bar chart, go to properties -> Style tab and set subtype to stacked.

You could also change your chart to combo chart (on the general tab) and then on the expressions tab change some of the expresions to bar and others to symbols or lines.

Thanx for the info. Unfortunately, when I have only two expressions the tool doesnt allow me to change styles....both grouped and stacked yield the same outcome...a stacked bar. The goal is to not have them be stacked.

Please attach a sample QVW of your app, so that it is possible to see exactly what settings and expressions you are running.
