Binary data to actual data source

Hi,

I have a test.qvw file. That file is working fine but i don't have its data source.

Edit script contains following statment Binary "test.qvw ".

Can anybody help me how i can get the datasource?

Hi,

locate the file "test.qvw " which is called in this statement Binary "test.qvw ".

Here hopefully you will find the "ODBC or OLEDB Connect String" to your datasource or a path to local files like excel.

Thanks for the reply.

In test.qvw file's edit script contains statement Binary "test.qvw ". No connection string is specified with this.

This file i have downloaded and not developed on my sytsem.

Is there any way to get actual data source.

so far I see no.

In this case you have to find the developer of the original file and ask for further information.
